Your thoughts are yours.
Nobody else using QUIET can see them. We don't read them, we don't sell them, and we don't use them for advertising or to train AI. Here's exactly what happens to what you share.
QUIET is run by an individual developer, operating under the name QUIET. "We" on this page means QUIET.
Your account: your email address and a password (stored scrambled, never readable), or your Google sign-in if you use it.
What you put in: your thoughts and brain dumps, tasks, notes and steps, categories, joys, wins, weekly notes, energy check-ins, and your settings (like day times and pace).
That's it. No location, no contacts, no photos, and no advertising or tracking tools.
Only you. Everything is locked to your account, so other people using QUIET can never see it.
We don't browse your thoughts. The only times anyone at QUIET would look at your data are if you ask us to help with a problem, or if the law requires it.
Tapping the mic usually uses your phone's or browser's own speech service (for example from Apple or Google) to turn your voice into words. On some browsers, and in the evening wind-down, the recording is instead sent to an AI transcription service just to turn it into words.
Either way, QUIET keeps only the words. We don't store voice recordings.
Only when you tap to sort, the words of that one brain dump (and your category names) are sent to an AI service, which turns them into tasks and suggestions. Nothing is sent in the background, and things you add directly are never sent to AI.
We ask the AI service not to keep what we send, and we never use your thoughts to train AI.
QUIET is built and hosted with Lovable, which provides our secure storage, sign-in and access to AI services (models from providers such as OpenAI). They handle your data only to run QUIET for you.
We never sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to show you ads.
You can edit or delete anything you've added. Deleted things go to "Recently deleted" in Settings so you can bring them back.
You can delete your whole account any time from Settings → Delete my account. That permanently removes your login and everything you've put into QUIET.
If this page changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and let you know in the app.
